Adding another feather to his entrepreneurial hat, Ronaldo is making a strong comeback into the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) space.

Binance, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange, has joined hands with Cristiano Ronaldo for the release of his personalized NFT collection. Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), announced the launch of Ronaldo's second NFT collection set for July 3rd.

Dubbed as 'ForeverCR7: The GOAT', the collection is a tribute to Ronaldo's extraordinary tally of 838 career goals. A total of 29,327 NFTs will be made available, giving collectors the choice from 20 unique designs categorized into four rarity levels: Normal (N), Rare (R), Super Rare (SR), and Super Super Rare (SSR).

Every design encapsulates Ronaldo's goal-scoring expertise, encapsulating breathtaking moments from his career, such as his famous bicycle kick or a powerful long-range strike. For instance, the 'Normal' designs, available in seven variants, each commemorate Ronaldo's hundred-goal milestones, from the 100th to the 700th goal.

A total of 4,000 NFTs are up for grabs for each 'Normal' design, summing up to 28,000 NFTs. The Super Super Rare (SSR) NFTs, on the other hand, offer a unique design with only seven being made available.

The SSR NFTs provide exclusive benefits to their owners, including the unique opportunity to witness a training session with Cristiano Ronaldo, among other exciting privileges.

As for the Super Rare NFTs, only 120 are available, with benefits such as a soccer jersey autographed by Cristiano Ronaldo. The 'ForeverCR7: The GOAT' collection will be accessible on binance.com, launched in a 48-hour auction starting from 7.30 pm IST on July 3rd.

It's worth noting that Cristiano Ronaldo's first NFT venture was also with Binance, launched on November 18, 2022. This collection, titled 'CR7 NFTs', celebrated his illustrious career through distinctive artwork, videos, and virtual collectibles.

This development follows the $21 million seed funding received by Matchday, a pioneering Web3 gaming startup from Lionel Messi, Ronaldo's fiercest rival. This signals an increasing trend of football stars venturing into the NFT and cryptocurrency realm.
