NFT Sales Increase By 26% Over The Previous Week

Non-fungible token sales increased by 26.76% this week, with $180.43 million in NFT trades recorded this week versus $142.33 million last week, according to NFT sales statistics. While Ethereum-based NFTs accounted for the lion's share of volume this week, with $79.2 million, sales of Ethereum-based NFTs have dropped 23.65% in the last seven days.

NFT sales volume increases by 26% over last week

According to cryptoslam.io metrics, NFT sales are up more than 26% this week compared to the previous week. Following a week in which NFT sales totaled $142.33 million, 17 different blockchain networks earned more than $180 million. This week's top collection was Uniswap V3 NFTV1 Polygon, which sold for $68.65 million. The top collection of the week was followed by the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT compilation, which sold $7.58 million this week.

Immutaswap.io, Digidaigaku, and Sorare sold $5.9 million to $7.35 million after the top two collections. Ethereum (ETH) had the most NFT sales with $79.29 million, followed by Polygon with $69.46 million. Solana, Immutable X, and Binance Smart Chain followed Ethereum and Polygon. This week, Flow ranked sixth with $2.02 million in sales, a 54.19% decrease from the previous week.

Polygon (MATIC)-based NFT sales increased by more than 620% in the last week. Solana-based NFT sales increased by 46.99% over the previous week, while Arbitrum-based NFT sales increased by 142.19%. While ETH-based NFT sales dominated this week, blockchain-based NFT sales fell by more than 23% this week compared to the previous week.

This week's top five sales were three Bored Apes, one NFTiff, and one Cryptopunk NFT. The most expensive NFT sale this week was Bored Ape Yacht Club #6588, which sold for 769.9 ether or $1.17 million four days ago. Six days ago, Bored Ape Yacht Club #441 sold for 350,000 DAI, and NFTiff #212 sold for 175 ETH, or $271K.

The most expensive floor price today is 69.95 ETH at Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), followed by Cryptopunks floor at 65 ETH. On Sunday, September 4, Castaways - The Raft has the third largest NFT floor at 17 ether, while Pegz has a floor value of 14.69 ETH. Finally, Mutant Ape Yacht Club has the fifth highest floor value at 12.75 ETH.
