KinkyBedBugs, a fan of this project, is the new owner of the rare penguin NFT #6873.

"I put my money where my mouth is," he said two days ago on Twitter. Pudgy Penguins and Luca Netz have my full support. It is what it is and will remain."

Though there are many jokes on Twitter about selling NFT for 400 ETH, this could be a brilliant move by the new owner. Furthermore, Pudgy Penguins NFT floor prices have increased by 83% in the last few weeks and 69% in the last month.

What will become of the famous penguins?

Luca Schnetzler, a member of the Pudgy community, brought the entire series from the founder into the midst of controversy in April of this year. Currently, the project is moving forward with a large community and a clear future direction.

The sale of the Pudgy penguins for 400 ETH demonstrates that there are a lot of people who believe in this exclusive series, which has a floor price of 3.9 ETH.

Finally, there are plans to significantly expand the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem. In the long run, they plan to release physical plush toys, children's books, and other items.

The project has 8888 Pudgy Penguin NFTs in circulation, making it one of the most popular NFT collections on the market.

The NFT sold was Pudgy Penguin #6873, one of the most rare in the collection due to the fact that nearly all of the penguin avatar's traits are shared by only 0.01% of the other NFTs in the project.

According to the OpenSea transaction history, the seller CoinUnited previously purchased the NFT for 225 ETH on September 8 last year, which was worth approximately $788,000 at the time. As a result, they made a significant ETH profit, despite incurring a $118,000 fiat loss.
