The video "From The D 2 The LBC" features hip-hop legends' Bored Ape Yacht Club PFPs in animated form. Rap icons Snoop Dogg and Eminem, who both love NFT, today released a song video with animated renditions of their Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) avatar.

The video for the song, "From The D 2 The LBC," opens with a picture of Eminem preparing to record a shot in the cabin. Snoop, a small-log-sized blunt smoker seated in the control room, exclaims, “Yo, why’s it so smoky in here man?!” The two then physically go to Ape after Eminem blows up out of the passive smoke, occasionally changing into Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs in a hybrid cartoon/live-action environment.

ApeFest Credits BAYC

The song was released at the end of this year's annual ApeFest in Manhattan, New York for owners of BAYC and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC).

Bored Ape NFTs by Snoop and Eminem

Eminem is a proud owner of a Bored Ape NFT, as evidenced by his Twitter profile photo. He paid 123.45 ETH ($452,000 at the time) for the avatar at the end of the previous year. Additionally, it appears to have purchased 26 additional NFTs in OpenSea under the name "Shady Holdings."

Eminem & Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg collaborated with MoonPay to acquire a BAYC, a Bored Ape Kennel Club friend and two MAYCs.

However, Snoop has been dabbling in cryptocurrency for some time. In early 2021, the rapper, along with KISS bassist Gene Simmons and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, joined a Dogecoin memetrain on Twitter.

Snoop Dogg Tweet about Dogecoin

Five hours after Snoop posted his tweet, which featured a photoshopped image of his R&G (Rhythm and Gangsta) album: The Masterpiece, which inspired the Dogecoin, the price of the popular memecoin rose 22 percent.

That spring, he released her own branded collectible NFTs, as well as an NFT collaboration with the creator of the iconic meme Nyan Cat, which sold for $35,000 at auction.
